Catholic Charities welcomes 4 new board members

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of San Francisco has welcomed four new members to its board of directors.
Paula H. Bennett, an attorney, “has been actively involved in Catholic schools and charities throughout her adult life,” Catholic Charities said in a statement announcing the appointments. Kathy Grogan, an accountant, “serves on the boards of Archbishop Riordan High School, Archdiocese of San Francisco Capital Assets Support Corporation,” Catholic Charities said. Jay Paul Leupp, who with his wife Heidi, is an active member of Our Lady of Angels Parish, Burlingame, holds an undergraduate degree from Santa Clara University and a graduate degree in business from Harvard University. Lori Mirek is pastoral council chair of St. Raymond Parish, Menlo Park, and a trustee of the Harvard Business School Association’s Northern California chapter.
“On behalf of the Catholic Charities board of directors, I am pleased to welcome Paula, Kathy, Jay and Lori and look forward to working with them as we continue our work of strengthening families and reducing poverty,” said Simon Manning, board president.
