Legacy of St. Patrick
April 5th, 2016

Re “The authentic St. Patrick,” Brother John Samaha, March 17:

What an interesting and informative piece. I enjoy Brother John’s articles that appear frequently in the Catholic. He is well versed and enjoyable to read.

Knowing many Irish Americans, I found humorous a particular passage in Brother John’s article as he stated of St. Patrick’s legacy, “ ... the Irish people abandoned the slave trade, and, although they had not stopped warring with each other. ...” From my experiences, the Irish take no back seat to inner-warring. St. Patrick’s work continues!!
