While I understand the desire for autonomy, and I am a woman, and I have adult daughters; the autonomy to destroy life will not bring women what they are looking for.
A woman is by nature sensitive and nurturing. She may also be ambitious, highly intelligent and gifted. I contend that a sensitive, intelligent woman cannot and will not forget the baby to whom she denies life.
Sen. Pelosi, Sen. Feinstein, Sen. Harris, the fallout from state sanctioning of abortion is not taken care of by government. When you presume to help by destroying life, you show no compassion for the woman who eventually comes to evaluate her life decisions and realizes that what she hoped to gain in denying life to her own child doesn’t measure up. I beg you to take the long view. There is nothing surer than that we will all die. Those of us who believe in the afterlife will meet our babies. We will be without all our worldly goods at that time. We will be women as our Creator made us bereft of all worldly glory, power and acclaim. It is neither intelligent nor prudent to ignore this reality.
